A Manheim Township sports bar that has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 is reopening next with a new operator.

The Station House Tavern & Sports Bar at 1335 Fruitville Pike, which is slated to reopen Friday, March 10, will maintain its décor and sports theme under Kayla Pagan, a longtime restaurant business worker who comes from a family of restaurateurs.

A Friday outage from Rogers Communications Inc. Resulting in some small businesses losing thousands of dollars, which they fear the telecommunications giant won’t fully compensate them for.

They say the internet and mobile phone service outage that lasted most of Friday and for some, into the weekend, left them unable to serve customers as they usually would. In many cases, businesses couldn’t even accept debit cards because Interac’s payments processor depended on Rogers.
